It's so nice to still have some classic Canadian bakeries in Metro Vancouver: Mundy Park Bakery has plenty of selection (and probably had more earlier in the day) of baked goods, cookies, simple squares and cakes and a few Dutch treats as well, they're really well priced and unpretentious. The cinnamon buns (with icing, of course!) are really good, but unfortunately my danish was so hard and stiff it felt stale. Maybe I just wasn't a fan of the texture; still, I'm sure some more jam would have helped. - Mimi's Cake Tour

Had the cinnamon bun without icing this time but the one with icing is much better. I find their chocolate chip cookies to be a bit too salty.

I went their because I read a great review of this place. it was all good except one thing...their price to me is not really affordable...but their bread is really good.

Awesome independent bakery. This place is a local gem and glad we found it. We've been enjoying many of their baked goods and everything we have tried has been delicious (the prices are very reasonable too, 1.50-2.30 or so for baked goods... I think it's a very fair price considering these things are baked in house and not delivered in... amazing quality). We have been buying their pizza dough and making some EPIC pizzas with them at home. I'm a big fan of cinnamon bungs and they have 3 varieties, plain (which is really good), traditional icing, and cream cheese frosting (very rich). They're great. Apple turnover/strudel, cream puffs are also good. The staff here are all super friendly, pleasant, nice people. They often sell out of many of their goods so best to go early for best selection. Thank you to the staff for your hard work and please keep up the amazing treats for us in these tough times!
