I went because I need a new phone as mine isn't functioning properly anymore. I understand that covid has changed things but I can't choose a phone without seeing it. Lots of staff in the store and they were slow getting to us. Then no advice on where to go that might be able to help. Just had a "whatever" attitude.
For a phone company.. you would think they would maybe answer their phone at some point? Atleast to acknowledge people are calling and put them on hold.
Today we came to get our cell phone renewal and upgrade done. But we left without even being invited into the store. The shocking experience just gave us an unpleasant feeling. The Telus staff had no sales skills in Coquitlam Centre.... instead of telling us what services the store could offer us the young sales guy repeatedly told us what they couldn't do. I was amazed how anyone in sales would let a business deal pass by like that. I went back to talk to the same guy and tried to make some sense of it. I realized that he assumed things incorrectly and handled us with almost no care. When I pointed out what brought us here he finally asked me if we were coming to renew and upgrade the plan in the store... which indicated we were here to pay… not shop around! I’m with Telus for many years since my first cell phone. This store is an embarrassment to Telus. It should be closed immediately in order to keep Telus reputation! We later went to another Telus store at 1071 Austin Ave. The guy was so much nicer and welcoming to us. They even had demo phones for us to see and touch. This is real professional with real customer service. What a day-and-night experience!

Rude unprofessional service, loosing client because of lazy staff: office hours shows it is open till 7pm. I approached at 6pm on 8th of June regarding the deal - to transfer from BELL to Telus and take additional 50gb shared data for my family. Asian guy talked to me through the almost closed door in a very rude manner showing that he is not interested to work untill the actual closing hours. If you wonder why your sales are low, because your store closes before it should.
