The food was actually pretty good but the service is the reason for 2 stars. We had arrived at 7:45pm last night - the waitress let us know last call was at 8pm and they closed at 8:30 (which was fine because we just wanted to eat and leave). Throughout that entire meal, they were constantly rushing us through our meal, spoke to us in a pretty rude tone, and asked us to cook our meat/onions so they could take our plates. We were already eating at a quick pace knowing we had to be out at 8:30pm. Also, the waiter and waitress would constantly adjust the heat of our grill. I assume the girl would adjust it lower and the guy (who had the attitude that we needed to eat asap and get out) would set it way higher. This happened around 3 times each person throughout our meal. I would completely understand this if we were the only ones left (we left by 8:32pm by the way). There was a group of older korean men who received their dish at like 8:20pm and didn’t seem like they were in a rush to leave. So what was the point of being so eager to get us out?? I’ve worked in food too... I have no idea how you would think that attitude is okay LOL

I used to love this place but somehow I think it doesn’t taste as good as before. The most ridiculous thing is you have to make two orders for some plates on the menu, like if you want pan fried spicy squid, you have to order two!!Very unfriendly for just two people.

3rd visit and another tasty meal. Yes, it's a small restaurant with only 9 tables so you might have to wait if you go at peak times but the lunch we had was delicious and a great value. Lunch set menu of stone bowl spicy octopus and short rib lunch set. Both include tea, soup and sides plus we added 2 Coke's. Great deal under 34.00. Definitely check them out.
The food is not bad, and the price is okay too. However, our first visit experience was pretty bad due to the non-stop hovering of flies and little bugs. The flies ended up touching most of the dishes and one bug got drawn in a side dish, which is quite disgusting. I understand that during this pandemic period, restaurants want to leave the door open to help with air flow. BUT if you are running a small BBQ restaurant with smells that would draw the flies and bugs from miles away, perhaps leave the door closed and crank up the ventilation instead.

Quite good food but seems like lack of servers. The waitress was not well trained and they made a big mistake in billing. Don't wanna go back again.
