Road blocked off to get to campsite. No markings that say its a campsite when we were driving there and it says private property? Google maps told us that it's also a 20ish minute walk from the car to the campsite so definitely not fun when you have a pack of stuff to bring.

Love this place! Beautiful campsite with brand new bear boxes. Short hike up to Widgeon Falls longer hike up to the lake

We didn't stay here but just passing through on the way to the falls. Paddle in access only is cool but the campground is nothing to write home about. Fairly open and crowded sites. With all the kayakers, paddleboarders and canoes coming up to hike the falls makes for extremely high volumes of people always coming through.

Too many people, river is pretty shallow in afternoon that requires getting out and pulling kayak over shallow sand banks. View is beautiful. No fish there in middle summer, at least nothing bigger than your finger if you planning to take a child fishing. Water is nice an clean but too cold for swimming. All in all a nice kayak trip but not the camping experience I was looking for. Here's the reason why: There are many many campers and they party all night long giving nobody any sleep. Two nights there, both was awful. I think they settled down around 3am. And here's the kicker! I almost fell asleep when the sound of fire crackers or fireworks was set off around 1am! And here I was trying to BBQ a marshmallow with my kids over a stupid gas burner due to the no fire laws. Having a marshmallow over gas burner is not my idea of camping. I'll go to the States next time to try and have somewhat of a real camping experience.
