A hidden little gem with authentic Korean food! Place is usually busy so reservations are recommended. A great selection of dishes including juicy Korean BBQ! So don't come in your best attire because you'll leave smelling like the grill. Tip: order the flat grill so you can grill your kimchi with your meat

One of the best Korean BBQ place in lower mainland, definitely my favorite. They offers lots delicious side dishes. The best thing I like this place, after being their customer for more than 2 years, is that you feel like having dinner at home.
TL;DR: Good place for family. delicious home cooking. Friendly service. It's a pity that some restaurant owners lose sight of the important value of the restaurant business; some try to add more flare to their food with fancy decoration which improved upon the dish as much as a fancy wrapping paper improved upon the gift. This however is not the case with Wonjo BBQ Noodle Restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, you're greeted by a series of wooden cubicle like dining area, very private. The ticket time is around 15 minute, and the meal is well prepared and doesn't come with a lot of fancy decoration; but a fundamental presentation combined with a simplistic taste is what make this home cooking vibe works. Wonjo is not the place you wanna go if you're on the first date and you want to impress the girl (or guy; considering the whole equality among the sexes thing), this is the place to go if you're getting onto the highway, sticking together for the long haul, got 3 kids and lives still wanna go out and treat yourself; Wonjo is a friendly place for the family.
Food is good made. I love this place. However, I will try to avoid this place at any busy hours in the future because their service could be extremely slow.
Friendly servers, fast service, and tasty food. I couldn't ask for more. This place has obviously put in a great effort to accommodate English speakers who may not be familiar with Korean food.
It's been my family's go-to for Korean cuisine for the last few years. The BBQ is a tad overpriced, but the pork bone soup (gam ja tang) is the best I've had in Metro Vancouver.
I love their Korean chicken noodle soup. Also when you nearly finish the noodle, they add rice and other condiments so you can have it as congee.
Great spot for groups. We had an interesting shabu shabu course where the broth was first used to boil thinly sliced meats and vegetables, then we put in handmade noodles, and finally after finishing the noodles, the restaurant made another course (porridge) out of the leftover broth. Very creative but apparently quite common and traditional in Korean cuisine. We also had bossam which is like steamed pork belly wrapped in cabbage. Worth trying if you haven't had Korean food before!
