Their Food was amazing! We liked our burger and sandwich as well as corn bread. The BBQ burger and BBQ rib sandwich were very tasty. I loved the grilled flavor of the burger and the sweet BBQ sauce. More than anything though, the cornbread was a transcending experience. The moment it was set on the table you get captivated by the melting butter resting on top. When you take a bite, the slightly moist, slightly crumbly cornbread fills your mouth with a rich corn and butter flavor that was simply delightful. It's a side dish so make sure to order one!

This is not BBQ! If you Come from anywhere that has good BBQ you will not be able to stand this. Sliced pork was dry and it along with the pulled pork were both coated in what I can only assume was liquid smoke. The Mac N Cheese was just pasta that had cheese tossed on top and thrown under the broiler. The \Texas toast\ was a slice of baguette burnt on one side. The Tea was bottled. What kind of BBQ place doesn't even have sweet tea! We hardly received any service outside of out ordering and the bill. In short avoid at all cost and don't believe the 5 star reviews. They have never had real BBQ.

Will 100% come back. Was in today with a buddy while military unit is in town and loved it! Best brisket in Miami! Old school place and it has an amazing bbq sauce. You can really taste the smokey flavor in the sauce!
Very sad for me to see such mediocre ratings on a place I have come to love! I have heard though that under their new management that they have really turned the tables in what they are doing. My first interaction with Uncle Tom's is at their Pinecrest location that eventually closed down.......it was completely terrible! Thank the lord my experience here yesterday was nothing of the like and my boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our meals. I got the full rack of ribs that comes with fries and cole slaw. He picked from the lunch menu and got the combo plate of two meats, fries, and cole slaw----choosing the pulled pork and brisket. Oh man, were my ribs good! They were perfectly cooked: not fall of the bone (which ribs arent supposed to be) but very tender and seasoned well with a dry rub. You can add their bbq sauce thats left out on tables if you like which I did to my liking but I really appreciated that all their ribs weren't overly slathered and it was essentially up to the eater! My boyfriends meal was equally huge and they were very generous on the delicious pulled pork and brisket portions. I was not a fan of the brisket but he loved it. We both raved about the pulled pork and once again it was not drenched in sauce so you could add as much as you like! I would definitely recommend coming in if you are having a bbq craving. Next time I'll be getting a pitcher of beer since they have great specials that include free wings! If you haven't been in a while, go back, the new management is doing things right! IG: @KFitzEats
