Had an amazing stay at Despina Apartments! Christos has been the most welcoming host ever, always helpful, always looking out for our needs, he exceeded all expectations! Highly appreciate the cleanliness, fresh towels were provided every two days, the breakfast was delicious, the pool is so clean and the coffee is yummy! Great location as well, close to the most beautiful beaches in Corfu! I highly recommend Despina Apartments and I am looking forward to return for a great holiday!

Christos makes the perfect host, in a great location. We had a lovely 11 days staying with Christos at the Apartments Despina, enjoying his lovely food, drink and pool. It was a great base for us to explore the whole island from, with a friendly family atmosphere and good privacy. Absolutely recommended! Hope to see you again soon Christos!! And don't forget to watch the Rugby!!
I had a lovely time at Despina Apartments and Christos made my stay extremely comfortable. He will always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. His mother, Despina, is a great cook and host aswell, they both run a tight ship and having been to Corfu many times previously, this is the most authentic place I have stayed. The locals from the surrounding villages come to spend their nights there at the Bar and it is a great feeling being around people visiting the island and the locals, it really immerses you in the culture. Just west of Corfu town it is a 15 minute drive away and situated well in reach of some beautiful sports, near the likes of Pelekas and Agios Gordios; I would recommend getting a hire car of which is an abundance in Corfu. Overall, if you want to stay at a place where you can do your own thing but also benefit from conversing with locals and holidaymakers alike then I would definitely recommend Despina Apartments. I will be visiting again!
A great family enjoy the time ever year we come over
I stayed at Despina with my wife and two children for three weeks in June 2015. Christos (sometimes known as Costas) and his family could not have been more welcoming or hospitable, they will do whatever they can to make sure that their guests enjoy themselves. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going, if you come here for a holiday and you don't have a good time then you need help! The food that we had at Despina was all excellent, from the bar food at the pool to the traditional local Greek dishes served in the evenings. Christos works hard to keep the place in tip top condition, he loves his job and it shows. He was often up into the small hours cleaning the pool after all his guests had gone to bed. My wife loved it and the kids loved it, the children especially enjoyed playing in the pool with the local kids and taking Hermes (Christos dog) for walks in the beautiful green countryside that surrounds the rooms. The rooms are basic but had everything we needed, Despina makes a great place to stay while discovering and enjoying Corfu. You really need a hire car to make getting around easier but Christos can arrange this and probably anything else also! There are only about nine rooms so the place doesn't get over crowded and this makes for a much better experience than staying in a bigger hotel. Excellent relaxing holiday. Many thanks Christos!!!!!
