The most unprofessional organisation that I have used for car rental. AVOID. When returning a car that had been filled 1.6km from the airport I was told that the was not returned full and that I would have to pay additional charges. Not happy with this, and stating my case the homophobic staff refused to accept that the car was full. I then went with the staff to back to the station and the attenant topped the car up with less than 0.50cents worth of fuel. Embarrassed that they had been caught out the Hertz staff asked the station staff to rock the car to see if they could get more fuel in. More fuel was spilt than went in the tank. No apology, No shame, No embarrassment, just a normal day trying to fleece customers at the end of a holiday. Google can we give NO stars...

We rented 2 Citröen C3 because we were 6 persons. The operators at airport were very helpful and friendly. The cars have been in good conditions, no bad things to say. We really can recommoned Hertz at Korfu Airport. We booked via ADAC like always. So we had full-kasko, additional driver and all kilometers for free. All services were like discribed. Thanks a lot for all HERTZ. We will rent at you again.

stay away from this business. walk everywhere if u have too. very rude staff. they made a big scene about the security deposit needing to come from a credit card only, i dont have a credit card only debit card. they eventually let me use my debit card then upon further investigation of their website and emails we recieved from them it says credit or debit may be used for the security deposit. it took 5 days for them to return the security deposit after u returned the car in perfect condition. i thought we were never going to see our money back and i had to borrow money from family in order not to end up sleeping on the street on the next stage of my vacation due to this. i spent a fortune on extra insurance without knowing what i was buying because the rude lady told us she was too busy to help explain how it worked. the lady is like a robot with zero empathy. she was happy for me to leave with no car and no refund after i paid for 9 days hire in advance because i didnt have a credit card until her manager stepped in to say that the debit card will be ok. all in all i dont know what to be disgusted more at, is it hertz, is it the car hire industry preying on tourists, i think they both suck but iv never had this experience with other companies. also bear in mind the roads on corfu are completely rooted so a small low car will be destroyed if u dont drive with the most care and the extra insurance wont cover underbody damage and with low cars u cant check underneath before u hire it so it leaves u vulnerable to be scanned in this manner too. pay a bit extra get something with more clearance and bigger tyres. i would give 0 stars if it was possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I wish I had read reviews prior to booking. We paid several hundred Eurostar for full insurance coverage and discussed what was normal wear and tear (e.g., small scratches, slight bumps, etc). We were extra cautious on inspection and where we parked the car during our trip. Upon return they sighted damage under the front of the car. It didn’t occur to me to check the bottom edges of the car. I was charged another 155 for damages. With the condition of the roads and knowing the car will not be repaired for such minor scratches, AND its doubtful that we put it there, this was uncalled for. Inspect your car meticulously because they will charge you for any minor mark on the car. Will not use them again and would NEVER recommend them in good conscience. Not worth paying extra for hertz, it’s not the same in Corfu.
