Atlantic Rain was established to make full use of a natural, sustainable and abundant resource here in Ireland, rain. Currently, there are no companies producing potable bottled rainwater in Europe and we plan to take advantage of this gap in the market. At present, there are only 7 companies globally producing bottled rainwater. Atlantic Rain plans to sieze this exciting opportunity to exploit Ireland’s geographical position, where Atlantic weather fronts can bring in as much as 60 inches of rain per annum to the west or Ireland. The rain clouds start their journey out in the Atlantic ocean and are brought to the west coast of Ireland by the Gulf Stream and Jet Stream. The clouds cross no land mass before reaching Ireland and we have developed a unique collection system, where the rain never touches the ground, so no ground pollutants are absorbed. Filtered properly, rainwater, will provide healthy, delicious drinking water, naturally free of chemicals, additives or pollutants and is environmentally friendly. Atlantic Rain plans to produce luxury bottled water in two varieties, still (light rain) and sparkling (heavy rain) in bespoke 750 and 250ml long tall elegant glass bottles. Atlantic Rain will provide a healthy and delicious table water that will be branded as a premium bottled water and exported globally.
