From the moment you arrive at Cornea Consultants of Albany you are greeted with a smile from Mike or Kathy at the front desk and then by any and all the technicians you see. They are kind and gentle and comforting because they are so skilled and they know you are frightened. All of the doctors are also kind and gentle and comforting and take the time to explain the options you have for cataract surgery. Brooke, the surgical consultant and scheduler is incredibly knowledgeable and spends as much time with you as you need. The surgical facility is impeccable and once again everyone is kind, gentle, comforting and knowledgeable. The surgeons, and specifically the amazing Dr. Schultze, are accomplished and highly skilled. Follow-up visits are thorough. I have only the highest praise and regard for Cornea Consultants and cannot recommend it more highly. I met with several cataract surgeons and facilities before deciding who would do my surgery...none could compare to Dr. Schultze and his amazing staff.

I was so nervous coming here! I had a previous really bad office visit with another eye office in the area. As someone who has severe white coat syndrome, this place was amazing and actually took the time to listen to me! I also was able to get an appointment within 3 days! I am very glad I was finally able to get a treatment plan in place.

I love their professional team and the enthusiastic environment. Dr.Schultze is the best and truly cares for his patients. He treated my eye infection I got from Lasik surgery at Lasik Plus. He is very skilled and competent in the field that I got referred to. Highly recommend!

Incredibly frustrating practice to deal with. My wife was prescribed an eye drop and asked to schedule a follow up appointment. We we notified by the insurance company that they would not cover this prescription and asked that we try something else first, which we were more than willing to do. We left messages but didn't receive return phone calls. At one point we got through and were told that everything had been handled and the medication had been ordered. Called the pharmacy who informed us that there had been no follow up (only the original script had been sent in, which was the one turned down by the insurance company). Again, we proceeded with messages, hoping for a call back. We had to cancel our follow up since there's nothing to follow up with. We still have not heard back despite leaving messages. I wish we could just speak with someone when we call. Again, we liked the doctor, but we can't 1. get the medication that they prescribed (or change to the one the insurance company suggested), 2. deal with technicians who can assist us in resolving any outstanding issues, or 3 .schedule the subsequent follow. I don't see how we can remain patients at this organization.
