Great service from Ashley. Staff was warm and welcoming. Inside was not. Shivered a bit. However the vibe is still good. Music is great. Food is good. Smaller selection of beer, yet still decent. The mac & cheese is just okay- had high hopes for a little more. The main dish I had was amazing! (Brisket with mashed potatoes) Fish & Chips could have had a more substantial potato wedges instead of fries. Fish is good. Overall super happy to have a place open with kind service.

Excellent drinks! Terrific and personable service! And the food is out of this world! I highly recommend!

Amidst the Covid Pandemic, we were walking down Woodward Ave and saw that Cornerstone was offering outdoor dining. We had never been here and decided to try it. Oh my was that a great choice! We had 2 entrees, the Braised short rib and Jerk Chicken with pineapple fried rice, and a half order of Gouda Mac N Cheese. Everything was absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and the flavor was incredible. highly recommend trying this place out on your next Saturday night out in Detroit!

The food is 5 stars: their bacon is ON POINT on the BLT (and I don't even normally like bacon) and their mac and cheese is absolutely worth the try. However, the staff behind the bar makes it very uncomfortable to eat there. They were passive aggressive and condescending- and this is coming from someone who was a full time server for many years. Will prevent me from EVER eating there again - I'll just get take out.

This was a really solid choice for dinner before a Tigers game. It's within a very easy walk to the stadium, and the menu was perfectly tuned to what we were looking for. 2 of the 3 people in our party were made very happy by the house burger (I particularly liked their choice of bun), and the third enjoyed a pork mini (slider). We found lovely beers on the happy hour menu to complete the experience. The Cornerstone isn't fancy, but I'm perfectly willing go consider it a five star dinner because it was exactly what we were looking for in a perfect location.
