Absolutely unsafe. I am writting this from the boat. The crew members have blocked the emergency exit with baggages and stuff. After complaining they have told me that there is no other place to put those things. I have kept complaining to different crew members and eventually one of them removed a couple of bags to make visible the emergency exit (still unaccessible). I took some pictures that I will be sending to the authorities to have this situation solved and prevent dangerous situations.

I would avoid to use this company if possible, the website says to wear warm clothes because of AC, forget about AC there was not even any air circulation. We had all the smell of petrol coming in too at the beginning, luckily they managed to opened the back doors after several attempt at it but closed them back more then 1h before we arrived so it was very hot again. It just felt unsafe overall. Everyone was obviously exhausted from this uncomfortable 5h journey and while coming out the boat staff were jocking around saying we are the best ferry company and laughing. I haven't tried any other company but would recommend trying them before this one.

This company is a shame for the Philippines. Offering outrageous prices abusing its monopoly position on the route from El Nido to Coron. Furthermore, we were seated on a boat which rather looks like a old and unsafe scrap heap, instead of the modern and fast catamaran which I expect in the case of paying unbelievable 1.800 Pesos for a ticket. The seats are old and should be brought to the garbage, being very unclean. I am speechless, seriously!

Really horrible trip. The boat was small and we were very tight, unable to go out to get some fresh air. The crossing was longer than expected (4:30 instead of 4 hours). Many passengers were sick and continued to vomit. In addition, the boat did not respected any safety standards since the emergency exits were blocked in the event of an accident and the number of life jackets was insufficient! It was a very dehumanizing experience. I absolutely recommend to avoid

Avoid this ferry company at all cost. Our 8am ferry departed and after 40 minutes turned around due to ‘problems with the engine’. We then waited 6 hours with no information on what would happen next. They told us they would provide lunch.. they gave us soggy bean sprouts and white rice. They then packed us in with the 12pm service that actually departed after 2pm. Staff have no idea what’s happening and point you from one person to the next. Absolute joke of a service. We got told later there’s another new company with ferries leaving at the same time that’s much more reliable.

We took the Phimal ferry to El Nido and back, and both journeys we were hugely disappointed. Would really recommend to everyone to avoid this company at all costs! Going to El Nido, the "4 hour ferry" took almost 7 hours because they had engine problems and we were left almost frozen to death trapped in the cabin until almost 8pm when we should have been there at 5pm! Horrible experience. Going back to Coron was even worse, we checked at the office before to make sure the engine was fixed and we would be on time as we had a flight from Coron to catch. To our huge disappointment the ferry was late leaving, then due to choppy water and everyone being sick they took a longer route which seemed to add another 1.5 hours on to the already late departure, so we were more than 2 hours late in the end. We missed our flight, had to pay 50 each to change to the next flight which was then also delayed, causing us to miss our onward connecting flight to the UK and had to pay another 400 each to book new tickets. All because this stupid boat couldn't just complete a simple 4 hour journey on time! I would really recommend going with the Montenegro ferry company, they seem to be much more organised and punctual. So gutted that we didn't book with them and save ourselves hundreds of pounds and an extra 24 hours stuck in Manila waiting for the next flight wasting a whole day of our lives.

Horrible. Can’t go out since 3 hours because first the cook is cooking, then the crew had lunch for hours. Whole journey took 5 hours, not 3,5... Seriously fly this. Don’t go on that ferry. Edit: Ah and now was Lunch time over, but I was not allowed to go out, because we are arriving in 30 minutes. Worst experience on the Philippines by far.
