Intitolata a S. Pantaleo, medico e martire nell'anno 305, la fondazione della chiesa è precedente all'anno 1000. Casa parrocchiale fin dal 1585, fu poi ampliata dopo la peste del 1630 e fu sede del Sinodo Diocesano Albese del 1652. Venne restaurata nel 1867, poi ancora nel 1993. Un cartello, fuori l'edificio, ricorda con un certo orgoglio che qui fu battezzata la bisnonna di Papa Bergoglio.
