Best hike anywhere in the smokies. Obviously longer and steeper than most, but the most fun, most rewarding hike anywhere in the GREAT Smoky Mountains.

This place is beautiful. We stopped by for about 1 hr to take a few photos on our way to the Mouse Creek Falls. There are bathrooms for those who decide to camp so I would definitely recommend it for camping and RVs.

Awesome trail. Many great spots for pictures. The family loved it. This was our 2nd time there.... Can't wait to go back

We did the Low Gap Trail and Sutton Ridge Overlook. It was a great trail for those just starting out or getting back into hiking. We didn't make it to the Cammerer Tower because my mom was hurting 3 miles in (she's 73 and had a knee replacement just 6 months ago) but wanted to get the experience. Some of the highlights are the serene quiet of the forest, the beautiful scenery, blossoming flowering rhododendron trees, and multiple log foot bridges crossing the streams. Even saw a rock resembling \big foot\ lol. We packed some fruit and sandwiches and had a nice lunch at the picnic area at the end of the trail.

Mount Cammerer is one of the best destinations in the Smokies. The hike leaves something to be desired, though.
