Here we often see locals keep coming back and chitchat with the staff. That already tells us it is a great hotel with long history and warm service. The classic rooms are well equipped with French amenities, we love it. The delicacies they offer , along with quality body care products on sale, are just lovely. Location? Nothing better than Cosmos!

Convenient location, easy to get around to places of attraction around Taipei! Approx 3 mins walking distance from MRT exit M3. Service was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Dimsum items in the buffet breakfast were wonderful. Only downside is that its a slightly old building, but overall a comfortable stay.

This hotel needs a BIG reno cause it is very very old. I won't be surprised if it has mold. The rooms smell very moldy and dusty. But the service of lobby staffs were very friendly. Another good thing is that you won't hear anything from outside, even it is along the big road.
Cosmos Hotel location is fan-tas-tic, stone throw away from Taipei Main Station and nearest to M3 exit. Alternatively M7 exit which is nearer to 7-11 convenience store. Plus there're local breakfast/lunch egg-crepe stall and a more upscale burger joint which is adjacent to the hotel lobby. Convenience is the name of the game here. The hotel interior design however.. is rather dated, kind of depressing. Definitely not my taste but perhaps my grandparents would appreciate, if they're still around. Gold everywhere.. too yellow, too much gold. Can see in the photos, the use of old fashioned wood and marbles. Marbles are great, but somehow it came off as dated when combined with the other yellow/gold theme in the hotel. It's the same in the lifts, main lobby and breakfast restaurant. Speaking of breakfast, there are enough varieties and some nice touches like cook-to-order noodles and fresh omelette or sunny side up eggs. Korean DIY pork wrap is something you don't see often in non-Korean hotels. Service isn't top-notch, usually our table is rather full of empty plates before a staff noticed it (or have the time) and come to clear it.
Is very convenient location. Just a few steps away, escalator down to the main subway & bus stations. Besides that, connected to underground shops and cafe and connected to shopping malls too! On both sides of Cosmos, there are two 24hours Convenience store. Service is good. All staff are very humble. Will stay with them again if i will to visit Taipei again
