Carrie Haas represented me in a federal lawsuit against my former employer. The case was lost and one of the significant factors is that she failed to respond to a Motion for Summary Judgement that resulted in a ruling in favor of the Defendant. Also, she failed to put forth many very important facts as instructed that could of resulted in a favorable verdict for me. While she was very nice during the few years she represented me, she just ran out of steam and interest. Dawn Wall was initially hired to represent me to prepare and file for SocialSecurity Disability as result of my several qualifying illnesses. After providing her with all the documentation, I started calling her after several months to check on the status, and she would tell me on several occasions that “Bonnie” from the Social Security office in Springfield, IL had assured the claim was progressing its way through the system. According to Dawn, “Bonnie” was her contact at that federal agency, After awhile, I grew suspicious, and asked her to attend a meeting with me at the Social Security office in Bloomington, IL. I contacted her office and informed them POF the date and time of the meeting. The day before the meeting I called Dawn, and she acted like she nothing of the prescheduled meeting and she said she could not attend due to having to being in court all day. I asked her to print off my file and I told her I would attend and that my wife would pick up the file later in the day. When I received the file, I noticed that my initial social security claim had not been sent to Social Security until THAT VERY. DAY-many months later after my initial meeting with Dawn. I grew suspicious and the contacted the Springfield Social Security Office. It was determined that “Bonnie” did not exist and was a figment of Dawns imagination.
