I have lived here for 3 years and absolutely love it! DJ and his staff always treat me like family, if ever there is an issue maintenance is quick to fix it! I love how close so many restaurants and bars are! I am always so proud to bring friends over! My favorite thing about Cottonwood is the events! What other apartments have food trucks? So thankful for my beautiful home!

I have been living here since April of 2016, and have no major complaints. Management has changed since I moved in, and the newer management seems much more competent. The building itself is in good shape, and has good amenities including a gym and pool (neither of which I use so I can't comment on quality). One huge benefit is that the building has fiber internet. Otherwise, I moved here for the view, and am still happy with that. The part of the building I live in does get loud with the nearby train tracks, but I've become used to it and it really does not bother me. It's a bit expensive per square foot, but for the convenience of the location, and once again, for the view, I'll stay here another year at least.

My boyfriend and I were almost hit today by a blonde haired woman driving a black jeep cherokee very fast leaving the parking garage. She came within inches of hitting us, looked at us, and didn't even slow down or stop. I walk down this sidewalk everyday to get to work and this happens at least once a week. I've tried contacting the leasing office to remind tenants that they are driving across a sidewalk and need to be cautious but a year later and nothing has been done. Put up speed bumps, a sign, or something. It's very dangerous!

location is great. Love being close to all the restaurants around this area. Unfortunately the building has a huge flooding problem that will never be resolved. ( i was told by management) Go down to P1 and experience the awful flooding in the garage. Flooding made the flooring in the elevator deteriorate and moldy. The elevator also doesn't work often and breaks down. The gym in the building has also flooded and now smells moldy. My apartment has been without AC for 11 days now, because management says it is not an emergency(i have floor to ceiling windows some of my blinds are broken and has not gotten repaired in over a year. Current temperature in my apartment is 85 degrees. According to cottonwood this isn't an emergency.

Good location and nice finishes with white walls and concrete floors. Unfortunately, I have been emailing and calling for almost my entire lease trying to get the flooding in my apartment resolved. They could only offer me a transfer 3/4s of the way into my lease (waiving the fee) which I have done before and it was a terrible process. I am now getting ants where the water damage is. If you have issues, you have to stay on top of the management team to get anything fixed or it will just sit on a to do list. There is also flooding on the lowest parking level and in the elevators/elevator banks. It's embarrassing to have guest over. If you work a 9-5 like me, save yourself the side hustle of keeping the apartment intact for them :)
