Went there for a funeral. Beautiful building. Handicapped and ended up walking all over the building to find where th funeral was held. I live 2 hours away so I had no idea where to go.

Love my church. Everyone is super nice. All the classes are ran by awesome people. I feel like my kids are safe while they are there.

Council Roads hosted the Fall Festival this Saturday. I was really excited to meet some members of the church since I am look for a new church family. Unfortunately, I witnessed some of the rudest behavior I have ever seen. There were lots of activities for families to participate in and most had a little bit of a line for us to wait in. As I was standing in line with my son and daughter I tried to get to know some of the people in front of me. I asked the woman in front of me how old her children were and she completely ignored me. I was hoping that she was just visiting the church and not a member, but her friend came up and talked about singing in the choir on Sunday. I was so disappointed. I was hoping that the members of the church were going to be welcoming and inviting, but I couldn't be anymore wrong. Throughout the day I was treated like an outcast. Even the adults had cliques. No matter how hard I tried to engage with them, I was left feeling like I was inconveniencing them. We ended up leaving early and I regretted bringing my children. I will take my family to another church because I couldn't imagine a less healthy environment.
