Worth the extra miles to travel to a great place to eat. The place is not special. The people are! The food is! This family owned cafe was the most pleasant surprise of the entire two week road trip. Great Italian wedding soup. The best Ruben I have ever eaten. If you are anywhere near this restaurant, it is worth the effort. You get the meal you can thoroughly enjoy while taking your time to savor the flavor of the food. Don't overlook the dessert, an added bonus.

Great stop to visit. Everything there was well worth our visit. We weren't planning on going here, just happened to see while walking to Smile Cafe. Plenty of space to sit. Quiet, workers are very nice. Quality coffee and perfect classic Coffee house spot. Very close to Smile Cafe.
Smile Cafe is my go to for coffee shops in Coupeville not only for its convenient location but for its superb coffee, most excellent breakfast burritos, pastries and cozy environment. If you love that feeling of "going where the locals go" type feeling with great home cooking?? Then make your way to this coffee shop!! Great breakfast & even better friendly "getting to know you" service. The owners mom was our waitress. They were so awesome that we went back the next day. Put this place on your places to eat when in Brewster. We look forward to our next trip to Coupeville
We wanted to experience a Smile cafe coffee shop (not Starbucks). Our drinks were very good. A great place to people watch and staff is very friendly Just enjoyed a fabulous cold press coffee. I am hooked. Very good flavor . Lots of coffee options. Hot and cold. Friendly service.
Greatest little coffee shop in Coupeville EVER We had the cold brew coffee and a mystery mocha. Both were amazing! I stole the mocha from the wife because it was so good. They offer coffee beans to go if you like brewing at home. We got the whiskey aged beans.
Excellent coffee...I have enjoyed coffee at many places and a couple of others in Coupeville but this one stood out with the quality of the latte...and I ordered decaf which in some coffeehouses does not taste as well. Others in my party really enjoyed it also. Although we took the coffee to go, this is a very inviting place to enjoy a good cup of coffee.
A good sandwich but,... Disappointingly slow service. And completely ignored by staff once the order was taken and paid for. No I contact, no "it's almost ready", and there was nobody else in the cafe, nobody. They had no other customers to pay attention to so I guess they have more important things than customers. 12.00 for a tuna sandwich included a 15% tip I wish I could get back. Not returning, didn't feel welcome or wanted.
