Classic hockey rink. It hasn't changed much in the last decade. The water works in all of the changeroom showers and drinking fountains, at least in February. Skates for rent for all sizes, they are usually pretty old though and as you'd expect, it's best to use your own if you have a pair. ️ The skating rink in Comox has skate sharpening, I don't think there is skate sharpening here. For people new to skating, they have assistant tools to hold onto.
A very popular facility, and highly used by many folks. Two ice arenas, a swimming pool, and a fitness gym, plus more. Great staff, excellent parking!
Great programs, staff and facilities
Don't waste your money on skating here. It used to be so nice, but after the last couple of times I went becoming a disappointment I don't think I'll ever come back. Hockey players go frequently out of their zone on shared ice and put little ones in danger as they try and quickly skate out of the way of somebody skating backwards with a puck. Skate staff don't do anything if you break the rules and it leads to chaos. Once I tried to switch skates as the blades of the rentals were too dull and they rolled their eyes at me. I used to go all the time and it's too bad they've gone downhill.
