I left a secure job, to take up a position with this Company, in good faith. From day 1 I felt uncomfortable and excluded. The staff have a clique run by someone who is clearly threatened by anyone new. The office is run by a very unprofessional lady, who has no idea how to manage staff. To be constantly told the business needed to \save their pennies\ when asking for an 8 screen riser and a hole punch, but then for the entire office to go out to lunch on the Company only to watch said person down a large glass of wine over lunch joking about the MD seeing it on the receipt. Such a great example. Half of the employees have been there for most of their working lives and their husbands and fathers too. Things are done their way. They are happy to go out to award ceremonies and dinners spending even more Company money, but remember we have to \save our pennies\. I have never been anywhere so unprofessional or inbred. It was quite a relief to be \terminated under the terms of my probation\ even though this was done in an underhand and dishonest manner leaving me penniless 3 weeks before Christmas. A history of more compromise agreements than you can shake a stick at! The place is a joke.
