Don't expect to be taken seriously. email address doesn't seem to work; phone will keep you on hold indefinitely I've been almost falling out of my wheelchair as muscles cramped up after sitting unable to move for 55mins before giving up. If you do get through you'll be offered a call back from a doctor who will probably not make the call or won't give you a chance to reach the phone before he/she hangs up leaving a note on your records making you look like the one at fault. If you do actually get to speak to a doctor odds are that she will not be up to speed on your case, will be consulting Wickidoctor clicking in your symptoms as you describe them. Then reading her diagnosis straight from the screen without reference to any domestic situation which might make her A.I. M.D. totally inappropriate to your particular circumstances. Even a diagnosis of cancer has failed to click wheels into motion to get me the help or support the hospital, yet again, assumes would have been the automatic response to notifications and updates. Test results have to be asked for and chased up, no matter how important they are to you and your consultant. It seems that the old days of receptionists stuffing hard copy notifications into your old brown card medical records envelope have never ceased. From personal experience I'd advise you to cut out the middle man and Google it yourself

Got a phone consultation this morning with a doctor. Was told tonsil inflammation and spitting blood is not a symptom. Doctor then argued with me , maintaining a swollen neck , tonsils, tongue and blood in spit is not a symptom. Doctor felt insulted by 'what the hell man' , passive aggressively told me the phone conversation is recorded and that he'll play it for me when i'm there before saying bye and ending the call. Complete joke.

Couldn't contact on the phone first thing in the morning so walked in got a appointment for that morning as it was urgent receptionist was really helpful . Had appointment with GP who was very good explained every thing got a phone call from UHCW this afternoon with a appointment . Very good service from GP practice and UHCW . Too many people complain about our NHS but never give credit when credit due .
