I was born and raised in the little town of Coward, South Carolina. I've been shopping at this store for over 20 years now! The owners now (Mr. Kitt & Mrs. Linda) are the original owners. Some of the employees (cashier: Mrs. Hazel) has also worked here ever since I remember. They cash checks without issue! THE MAIN THING I LOVE ABOUT THIS STORE IS THAT THEY CUT THEIR MEETS EVERYDAY; FRESH! I lived approximately 2 miles away and it was very convenient to \Stop & Shop\ here rather than drive 10-30 miles to the closest grocery store in Lake City or Florence. I HAVE TO ADMIT THOUGH; THEIR PRICES ARE A LITTLE HIGH ON MOST OF THEIR PRODUCTS! But, keep in mind, you're paying for convenience when shopping here!! It's worth it! Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to drive into town!
