I have been using Cowling and Payne for a number of years now and have always found them to be very professional in all areas. I have just recently renewed another tenancy agreement and everything ran very smoothly and the staff were very efficient. They are always there to help.

Useless company. Rented a property for over two years - they then tried to bill me for items which include - a second hand umbrella some spray cans and a fold up chair(all from previous tenant which were left in the shed, we threw them away obviously). All of these should have been removed before I even moved in. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Staff are also usually late to any appointments and poorly trained. Would never rent through them again. Started off by trying to take my whole deposit but ended up taking nothing. Absolutely horrendous stressful experience - the property was in perfect condition when we left!!!

James and Mike from the Wickford office were excellent all the way through the purchase of my new house answered all the questions wee always helpful and always returned phone calls very promptly would definitely recommend them very efficient

I called eight times to arrange a viewing. Six times I didn't manage to get through to anyone and the other two I was told someone would call me back. This has happened on several occasions with this estate agent and I would not recommend them to anyone. Very poor quality and lazy employees.
