My 8 year old daughter came to a sewing class here with her Girl Scout troop. Each girl made a pillowcase and my daughter came home hooked on sewing. Since then she's done a make-your-own-pajamas sewing camp and loved it. For Christmas she got a sewing machine and we are going to take the mother/daughter sewing class at Crafty Stitches next month. She's found a new hobby that she loves and has learned so much at Crafty Stitches that now she's teaching me!

This experience was great! I have no previous experience with sewing. The instructor took her time to show me how to operate my machine. Will continue to go for the next classes.

I enjoyed the one class that I took from them. However, I couldn't make it to the next class that I had signed up for because of an out of town emergency. I realized that I needed to cancel before 72 hours prior to the class but the emergency wouldn't allow that. I asked if I could use "some" of that money for another class or just get the kit that was going to be used in the class but my emails were ignored. Because of the strict guidelines of their cancellation policy, I won't be attending any more of their classes. I am a single mom with a very tight budget and I believe there should be a little leeway or compromise when "life happens".
