Bull River Guest Ranch is a slice of heaven. It's location couldn't be more perfect (although it's a little bit tricky to get there, don't take the service road!!) . Surrounded by mountains and in the middle of beautiful forest. It's unbelievably quiet and peaceful. We came in the winter time and we could enjoy outdoors (mostly small hikes) as much as staying indoors in the beautiful cabin. The cabins look new, and are very comfortable and cozy and worm. We felt like at home there. Thank you Anna and Riley for their amazing hospitality. We can't wait to come back

Cozy rooms and amazing views. Lots of fun games on the site like horseshoes and lawn bowling. Great way to unplug. Loved the hot tub (two of them!) And sauna.
This place is one-of-a-kind. The setting offers stunning views of mountain ranges and the nearby river that has carved a canyon through the rock. The local wildlife is just as awe-inspiring. We saw rams, deer, and elk. If you haven't heard elk bugle before, it should be on your bucket list. There are very few places that have as much to take in from nature as the Bull River Guest Ranch does. The Ranch itself offers very comfortable accommodations in this environment. Lots of cottages with comfortable beds and close access to the gorgeous fields and nearby lake. The operators are great people too. They actively looked for ways to make our stay great. We used the banquet hall and long house for a wedding reception, and these facilities make the place a great option for other meetings as well. I could see having a business retreat here. I've stayed here on a couple of occasions and this place has my top recommendation if you're looking for a comfortable way to relax in a natural location.
What a lovely getaway in the mountains- was nice to put away the technology and indulge in what nature has to offer. The rooms were cozy, very clean, and dog friendly! Hottub, sauna, and hike to the lake made for a relaxing winter weekend. Owner came and introduced herself and made sure we had everything we needed for our weekend.

I have been visiting the Bull River Guest Ranch for twenty years and seen many fabulous changes over that time. Greg and Gina do everything they can to make my yearly stay wonderful. The ranch feels like my second home, and I just love the swarms of hummingbirds that are present at their feeders. It is way better than you anticipate, especially if you like nature.
Beautiful location
Was at a wedding at Bull River Guest Ranch and the venue was fantastic! They had a covered area for dinner and dancing, the cabin that we went into was nice, clean, and looked comfy enough. There's animals for the kids to see and enjoy too! Beautiful spot in the Kootenays. Bit of a precarious drive if you're not experienced with gravel but take it slow and you're fine!
