Enjoyed a nice hike through the park. It is much nicer in summer but still a beautiful and peaceful place to come. Looking forward to when it opens for camping again.

This park is located just outside Cranbrook, BC Canada on Hwy 95. It is located near the lake shore just far enough off the hwy for quiet days and nights. The beach is a short walk from the campground with a large parking area for day use and campers. Grass area is pitted by marmot dens but there is a nice sandy beach and shallow shore for swimmers. A dock is provided for fishing and swimming well away from the boat launch. Picnic tables and benches are nestled under trees along the shoreline. The campground is on a hill side with well space, large, leveled sites with good privacy. The park is well maintained. There are no reservations for this park but we had no trouble getting a site on a Monday afternoon in mid summer. Sand boat launch with room to park truck and trailer. No services at sites and no sani-dump but one is available in town. Drinking water but no showers. Nice overnight park.

Great place to have a picnic! Take dogs, kids, or your boat. A bit crowded on certain days. Great location for people who live in Cranbrook.

A must go for most locals every summer. A small lake with a good beach and nice water. Hasn’t been overly crowded this year. Enough space to socially distance.

Small power boat free lake. Great small beach for kids and the lake is great for beginner paddlers but fun for all.
