Really nice picnic tables with yawnings. No sewage drain holes at each site, which I liked, but they do have a station for it on the way out, away from the sites. Facilities were clean, only one shower in each of the restrooms. Would love to go back and get on Canyon Lake again.

From what I can tell its probably a really nice park, but we are currently sitting on the side of the road in our 40 ft with tow, because the gate attendant wouldn't allow us to check in. We were told to turn around by the dump station, which had a line of 4 campers, so we used the camp loop. There we discovered several vacant spots, including ours. I was in a separate vehicle and drove to the office asking if we could stay, since it was available. She rolled her eyes and said no- not until 3pm. Meanwhile her husband jumped in the car and blocked my husband with his vehicle, jumped out and told my husband to leave the park. This was the rudest welcome to any RV park ever. If you travel and make good timing don't expect this couple to work with you. You will have to sit on the side of the road and wait . Let's forward a week..... We spent 7 days here and really enjoyed the place. The lots are very spacious, with covered picnic tables and a view of the lake. We met some volunteers who were very friendly and always kept an eye out to make sure the place is clean. Had we not experienced this awkward first day this place would have gotten a much better rating.
We visited back in June for the first time and enjoyed our stay. Clean facilities! Swimming was a bit rocky but fun. No luck while fishing but next time we'll try from the pier.
Great place to just get out of the house especially these days. No fishing today though. BTW the dock is closed.
This is a nice park. However, the restrooms have not been cleaned since we have been here. The same paper/trash has been on the floor since our arrival. One of the women’s stalls has been locked with trash all over the floor. Is it out of order? The shower head in the men’s falls off.
