Terrible builder and does not stand behind their work. Our home at 15907 Swindon Court was built 11 years ago. We are the third owners mind you, but we have documented evidence from various contractors and repairs experts proving that sub-standard materials were used and that shortcuts were taken. If we had a legal means of holding this company accountable we most assuredly would. We have made \u003e 20k repairs to the home for things that should not be breaking at 10 years. Builder sub-contrated windows as an example and have had three vendors say these were the worst windows they had ever seen used in a home of this price point in Hallsley. Window caps breaking, wife broke her hand cause one came loose and now we are paying 30K to replace them all with decent windows. We could go on an on. We have checked with our attorneys and unfortunately these guys are allowed to continue scott free because of time limitations passed. Tried to get in touch with them re the windows and they completely shut us down and said the company they used \legacy windows llc\ was no longer in business and they would not answer any questions we had further. STAY AWAY from this builder and we will post to multiple areas giving these guys all the credit they deserve!!! Want to sue us......please!!! We invite the lawsuit to recoup our costs!! We have documented burden of proof to show substandard materials and workmanship.

Just go to Angie's List and see for yourself. There are seven good reviews but trust me there are just as many or more bad reviews that people just didn't want to post. I have talked to sub- contractors who don't want to work with him anymore or have just walked off the job. There are so many better builders in Richmond than CHC don't get taken in for his phony charm. We did file a written complaint with Southern Living Custom Builder Program and I would encourage others to do so if you have a problem, so others might not suffer the same fate that we did.
Creative Home Concepts built our dream home. One of the reasons I chose Bryan Smith from a large array of builders is because of his honesty and integrity. He stands by his work. Building our home was a smooth process and we were very pleased with the results. Bryan always returned our calls promptly. After our house was finished and I had questions about something, he returned my call and helped me with whatever issue may have arisen. I highly recommend him because it is hard to find someone with his values and ethics in the home building world.
Building a home is always difficult, but when you are living 10 hours away, it is even worse. However, Bryan and Shannon made this experience an easy one for us. We were always able to get in touch with Bryan and discuss any concerns or changes that we had in mind. The ease of working with Bryan and Cassie since we moved in has been wonderful. Quality has been their object from the start and continues to this day. It was most difficult to leave our wonderful home in CT, but Bryan has made the transition much easier by providing us this very special new home. We highly recommend Creative Home Concepts!!!
From our initial meeting with Bryan and Shannon, to negotiations, contracts, structural design, interior design, construction, closing, and now follow-up work after moving in; our expectations have been exceeded. Their entire staff performed with great professionalism, knowledge, talent in their field, and respect towards us. Needless to say, we are very happy with our home, their organization, and our experience and have told many acquaintances of our positive experiences and how happy we are that we selected Creative Home Concepts as our builder.
