Barrow in Furness Lee Rushton, very bad paving Lee did my son's drive. No guarantee he said just my word. Well we've waited and waited for him to return and rectify the drive. But promises turn into no shows. My son paid a lot of well earned money for his drive which needs re sealing. I think our next step is trading standards.

In response to yourself Lee, from the review posted by 'geo warmth', firstly I had the drive boarded and sheeted during the pebbledashing works and it was in the same condition as it was before the pebbledashing occurred. Secondly any loads that were placed on the drive were well below the weight of my car, they were also boarded to spread the weight. After the works the pebbledashers checked the driveway with myself and we could not see any damage to the concrete. Onto your work; the driveway was guaranteed for 1 year by yourself and you did not respond to any of my messages or calls for months on end. Eventually you came around a year later - after multiple missed appointments - and inspected the two large cracks and one small crack in the paving. You stated that it required to be re-sealed and the cracks needed to be filled. You have not been back since promising this work in August 2018. The overall standard of work at date of completion was good and the appearance was desirable, however the two large cracks propagating outwards from the expansion joint illustrates that a second expansion joint is required - this damage is not caused by excessive loading or impact or the cracks would have propagated towards the expansion joint. You have been in this business a lot longer than I have therefore if you feel that this isn't required then prove me wrong. I would like you to keep your promise in line with your guarantee and fill the cracks and re-seal the drive in a timely manner. You have my number, call me to arrange this or I shall be seeking further legal or legislative action.
