Love this beautiful place to stay in crescent city CA! Well decorated, nice amenities, right beside the ocean, and huge rooms!

Clean and nicely maintained house. Ocean view in every room. Lovely wine and cheese reception in the evening. And Laura’s breakfast is definitely the highlight of the day.

Very cozy place that has a lot of love and warmth! The hosts are amazing people, we booked the place last second(literally upon arrival) and lucky for us one room was available. The view from the room were magnificent opening to the ocean with big rocks and one could hear sea lions from afar. Very relaxing. I can't thank them enough, for hosting us, and have to say that the breakfast was one of the best I had in my life. Thank you

The BEST place to stay in Crescent City. 100% worth it, and 100% better than any other lodging. Full one bedroom suite. View from the Pebble living room.

Comfy and cozy. The folks that own this place live out of town; there is a live-in inn-keeper that welcomes you to house, helps you get situated, offers up some wine and makes a killer breakfast. Absolutely loved this place.

The place is great, the view from the room is as advertised (really good). Although Deborah, the innkeeper is a good cook, the breakfast lacks variety. The worst is that when you come back after a long day, the room is undone and if you ask the innkeeper if she is supposed to make up the room, she is going tell you that she does not make it up in order to respect your privacy. If you insist and let her know that you expect your room to be made up, then you are going the get an attitude. So, forget the picture on the website, and take a look at the attached one to see how your 300 and change room will look when you came back. Bottom line: it's a great one-night stay, if you stay a second one, be ready do make up your own bed. As per the language barrier, you may have to hire a better educated innkeeper, since my wife, who spoke with her about the room arrangements, was born and raised in this country and holds a master degree.

Amazing ocean front rental for the price. Beach access was just down the block on the other side of the street. Although the real reason we stayed in Crescent City was to hike the Redwoods, only a short drive from this location to the Jedediah Smith State Park (highly recommend the Boyscout Tree Trail!) We stayed in the Fern Suite in the guest house. Clean, comfortable and cute decor. If we were staying for more than just the one night it would have been worth renting the whole house. As it was the one suite was plenty spacious enough for our 3 person girls' trip. The one of us who took the pullout sofa said it was quite comfortable. We couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature so it was a bit warm, but it was the perfect time if year to open the windows and that did the trick. We arrived pretty late at night so we didn't ask, but Laura was very helpful prior to our arrival, so I imagine she would have helped with the temp as well had we only asked.
