Mediocre food and a surprisingly aggressive, even hostile attitude to those not wearing masks. I mean - of course you insist people wear masks, but the *way* they do it is definitely not ski-area mellow.

We love this restaurant! We ski here every year for my birthday weekend and we always eat here at least once. Due to Covid they have changed the menu a bit but the flavor and wonderful service is still there. They have always given a military discount which is always a plus in my book. We are here two more days and I’m sure we will eat here at least once more. I usually have the Fish and Chips which are some of the best in Colorado from all the restaurants we’ve visited. My son had ribs for the first time in his life and the meat was falling off the bone and he ate every last piece.
Absolutely awesome food and service. The hacky sack was delicious and the cream cheese/avocado spread. Yum!! My son had ribs and he said they were the best.
I've been to Crested Butte four times in the last five years and I make sure to eat/drink here at least once every time we're there. Great food and drinks but really the best part about this place is the staff. The bar tender is great and the waiters are all very friendly and helpful. We were just in Crested Butte the week after Christmas and we ate at Avalanche twice (take out because of Covid but you are able to dine in if you choose). During both times there last week I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Amy. She had her husband have owned the place for years (not sure how long) and she was there both times working just as hard as everyone else in the place. The atmosphere is cool and right at the base of the lifts. Amy and her staff make people feel welcome and part of the family. We'll be back in Crested Butte in March and will make sure to stop in here at least twice!
Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had! Great Guacamole, steak sandwich was tender and savory! Pot stickers were good, fries and the dipping sauce were fantastic! Tomato Crab bisque was hugely successful, perfect refresh from morning slope runs! Fish and chips was also great! So good and filling was about too much to take an afternoon slope run, highly suggest a nap before doing so.
