Fantastic place to visit and untouched. Camp and Game Hunting grounds. Beautiful scenery!!

Unreal, beautiful acres upon acres of wildflowers (in August) BUT you'd better have 4WD! After September 1st one can drive much further into the property, which I will be doing next time. Just a beautiful spot and a great spot for a prayer-walk or just quiet reflection. Windy and cooler than surrounding areas so dress appropriately.
The scenery from up here is absolutely breathtaking. Be prepared for one lane road and having to allow for passage of other vehicles. 4 wheel drive was helpful in some areas as it was on a steep gravel road.
The downside: roads leading to this place are long and the last couple miles are steep, narrow, and crooked, albeit passable with a standard sedan in good weather. There are no facilities or accommodations once you arrive, so take what you need and otherwise prepare for no restroom breaks. The upside: the view is unparalleled, 360 degrees, and you can see for miles during clear weather.
Beautiful, almost breathtaking views of the Virginia, Tennessee, and NC mountains. It's a much better place for trucks and 4-wheel drive vehicles. Not good for cars. Much better for horse riding not hiking.
Great for hiking
It's so beautiful up there! The road up is in good shape but it's steep in places and not much room to pass another vehicle. I'd say go prepared for any kind of weather because of elevation. Trails are not marked.
One of the most amazing and beautiful places we have been in a long time! I must for wonderful views!
