This was a great and informative 45 minute ride telling you about the history of Cripple Creek. Scenery was awesome with lots of photo options. Social distancing was maintained - which was appreciated. Seen a lot of wild life. Only downfall was the smoke from the engine. Other then that everything was perfect!

This is a must see . It has some of the most breath taking views and really reasonable prices it's only 15.00 for adults 14.00 for seniors and 10.00 for kids . It's a 45 minute train ride and it takes you back in time of old gold mines and some of the most beautiful views. We traveled on a train built in 1927 ran off of coal Cripple Creek has so much to offer a part of history I'm proud to have been able to show my kids. So if you ever get to Colorado it's only a short trip from Colorado springs and memories you will have for a lifetime.

Fun 45min ride with narrated commentary on a functional, but small, coal fired steam engine. Open air cars. Narrow guage railroad. Narration includes details on the gold mining and info about the town.

I dragged my husband to Cripple Creek on our last day of vacation so we could take this train ride. The last time I took it was 28 years ago. It did not disappoint. Everyone was friendly and happy to see us, from the ticket window to the conductors. The young man who was our engineer and guide for the tour did a great job. He was engaging and funny while sharing loads of local history and information about Cripple Creek, mining, and nature. My only disappointment is the old bridge was removed and is now a pile of rocks. There was plenty to make up for it though. It was truly fun and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Cute shops! Historic area! Not much to do with kiddos here but if you're up for gambling, plenty of casinos!

The train conductor was a pleasure to listen too. He shared some amazing history and let us hear the echo of the whistle over the valley. I highly recommend this activity.

The ride in to Cripple Creek and Victor is beautiful. Cripple Creek is an old mining town that is full of casinos now. Lots of history here. The train ride was slow and at times, I thought it may not make it but it is old 1894. What I loved about the ride the most was the young man telling stories about history of Cripple Creek.
