It's great. I'd never go back to a normal gym ever again. Every class is different, yet all equally motivating. The workouts are much more intense than a normal gym, but you quickly acclimatise to them and their is always the option to scale. I lost about 6 kilograms in about 5 months without following any sort of diet. You do need to go at least 3 times a week to get the most out of it.

Great staff. Really good vibe. Check out their Saturday morning class, it's free to get you started. Great way to start the weekend.
I've been coming here for about a year and love it. The programming is great and I have been making constant progress.
WORST CROSS FIT IN MELBOURNE. I trained at CFR for 7-8 months and things weren't so bad, I made some great friends out of it (that's about it!) The short story is the owners tricked a few of us into singing 12 month contracts when we were told is was for the new direct debit company. And only when I few people tried to leave we found out about this. We tried our best to sort this problem out but the owners won't reply back to emails or phone calls. Now myself is getting letters from a debt collector for 1894.78. The guys obviously really need money to screw people like this! (See the photo) Due to this whole thing he lost a lot of members, and we continue to loose more in the future. I have never been more disappointed with a service, this is not what Crossfit is about. So if you was great training and culture I suggest you try any other crossfit but Cross Fit Ringwood .
I've been hesitant to write this review for a while, but after coming on here and reading the other bad reviews for this business, I know I am making the right decision. I joined Crossfit Ringwood in September last year as a friend of mine had gotten into Crossfit herself and highly recommended it. I looked up the closest one to me and it happened to be Ringwood. So I went along, full of excitement. And to be honest, the first few sessions were ok. The coach there seemed nice, but once the workouts started he took on this persona of an overbearing and angry gym class teacher, yelling at everyone and acting aggressively. I didn't enjoy it at all. The atmosphere of the gym was stifling and constricting. Still though, I persisted with my training for the first couple of weeks. But it just got worse and worse for me and after a couple of months I decided that I had had enough and wanted to leave. But Tristan wouldn't let me as he kept insisting that I was locked into a 12 month contract that I had to fulfil... Now I have a debt of over a 1000 dollars and debt collectors after me. Not nice! And I have the coach ringing me every week demanding payment. Just leave me alone!
I attended a couple of sessions at Crossfit Ringwood and I must say that I was not a big fan. The head coach (Tristan I think his name was) was aggressive and overbearing towards both myself and my girlfriend who had never done Crossfit before. We found his overall style to be lackluster and uninspired. I have trained in some great Crossfit boxes all over the world (including Melbourne), and I would have to say that this is the poorest experience I have had. And to top it all off, he wouldn't refund us the money that he owed us even after approaching him politely and explaining that his box and training style wasn't for us. He kept telling us that policy stipulates that there is only a 3 day return policy and we had missed it by one day... Shame he couldn't just deal with us on a respectable human level. Do yourself a favor and try out the nearby Crossfit Bayswater or Crossfit Blackburn (that's the one I train at now). Both accomplished and respectable boxes with knowledgeable and caring trainers. best give Crossfit Richmond a wide miss I think...
Great crossfit venue with strong community spirit. Definately will not be dissapointed come down and check it out!
Love the training here and the Coach Tristan's focus and supportiveness. Been coming for 3 years
