My mum went to this place recently, ordered 2 portions of Egusi soup, the cashier attempted to charge her 47. Only after ringing her Nigerian friend did the cashier then change the price to 20. I do not recommend this restaurant .

Worse Nigerian restaurant I've been to. Ordered grilled crooker fish with plantain but was given tilapia. Had to complain & was told they didn't have what I ordered so they made the tilapia without checking with me. Few minutes later I was told there was 1 crooker fish left. I asked for grilled but was given fried fish! Cocktail was extremely sweet. Overall I wouldn't be returning to the Croydon branch. Very poor customer service
The food here is absolutely delicious, generously sized portions. Staff Jesse and Funmi were very pleasant and provided great customer service. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice with afrobeats videos shown on strategically placed large screen tvs for your enjoyment. This eatery is worth a visit, which you won't regret.
Ordered eguisi with beef and pounded yam and pepper soup to takeaway - couldn't eat in due to lock down. Food was delicious but the meat was very hard. Disappointing as we specifically requested for the meat to be soft. Portions were also smaller than what you'd usually get if you ate in so you don't get the value for money you should. Won't be doing delivery from there again but will visit once everything opens up again.
I used to frequent the Croydon branch.. it was ok at first untill I started going regularly and on a couple of occasions the fish in my Edikang Ikong soup was cold which leads me to believe the food isn't fresh but pre made and microwaved on demand... i was just about to order via deliveroo but the cost of soup and pounded yam meal is inflated for no reason.. when i called and asked the restaurant why the woman I spoke to said its 20.99 for soup and fresh fish if you order over phone but on deliveroo it's 22.99 not including deliveroo charge which just seems a bit greedy and dishonest especially as the manager has been giving no reason to explain to inquiring customers. This Akwa Ibom native is very disappointed that the brand is demonstrating such dishonest business practises.
