Dined here just before England Lockdown 2.0... Charming little pub in Shirley with a seafood/tapas restaurant in the back. The restaurant interior is quite dark but the toilets were very clean and you can see into the Kitchen which is very reassuring. Service was very friendly and personable. The menu was a little limited as they were about to close for a month but the dishes we had were very tasty and the homemade desserts were traditional and comforting. I would definitely go back when they're in full swing.

I admire this place! They provide delicious dishes, their menu is decent, The cook in that place is a real pro, I like very much eating all their food. The food is always tasty, the service towards the guests is efficient. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never disappointed. I recommend it to all.

A small group of us visited on a weekend afternoon for a quick drink and received a warm welcome. Unfortunately several of the real ales were unavailable but there was still a good selection of real ale, other beer and other beverages. There was plenty of space to sit down and enjoy our drinks. The venue was clean and tidy. There was a particularly friendly and welcoming attitude by the barman which was great. We didn’t dine here as only popped in for a quick pint but based on our experience would be keen to return to try the food. The only reason for the four stars was the lack of availability of several of the real ales. Overall a very good visit, one to recommend.

I've been twice to this place. The second time even better than the first one. They really are seafood experts. Loved it. Today I had oysters and lobster. We were lucky enough to get even some sangria. Highly recommended. I suggest to call to book a table in advance, just in case :)
