Absolutely phenomenal dog photographer. We have a very hyper-active dog who is very hard to control. Kevin's canine session was absolutely amazing. He had the quick reaction time to capture my dogs fast and crazy personality but he also had the most patience I have seen. He took the time needed to capture the most brilliant "Calm" portraits of my dog. My dog only holds still for a second or two (which is rare) but in those few seconds Kevin managed to grab the shots to get the picture perfect photos of him. I can never thank him enough for the session he gave us! Definitely will use him again!!! 200%!!!!

I don't even know what to say about Kevin; there's too much. Let me sum it up, and you can continue reading more detail if you like. Kevin doesn't take photos: he captures moments and memories. Every photo I've gotten from him brings me back to the moment it was taken, with all the associated thoughts and feelings. Let's start with that he's just an amazingly friendly, outgoing person and a calming presence in a photo session. My fiance and I hate having our photos taken, and he put us right at ease. He was great with our dogs, who we insisted be part of a photo shoot. He's very creative and has an artistic eye that I just cannot understand. We had an engagement session during the worst of the 2020 wildfire smoke, and he managed to use that to an artistic advantage. He'd improvise things like kicking up some dust for photos. Just very creative. He was more than happy to work with us on multiple locations even when I can't figure out to where I'm driving. You get what you pay for in a photographer, and especially for those once-in-a-lifetime moments there's no one else besides Kevin that I would trust to take the unbelievable photos. (All of the photos I posted are from the same session, just FYI)
Kevin is awesome! He took pictures of my husband, our two dogs, and me on our trip to Tahoe. I cannot say enough about how great he was, especially with our very hyper and excitable dogs. He was incredibly patient and got some amazing, magazine quality shots. I still cannot believe he was able to get pictures where all four of us were looking at the camera! I cannot recommend Kevin enough; he was super professional from start to finish and a true pleasure to work with. He made the photoshoot really fun and I am incredibly happy with our choice to go with Kevin!
KEVIN IS GREAT!. He's done our engagement, wedding and now family photos.He's very professional and loves what he does which shows in all of his work. Kevin is a phenomenal photographer. He took pictures at my wedding in Lake Tahoe, and the pictures came out amazing! The best part of Kevin's photography is he knew how to capture the right moments. His photos are unique, and he knows how to work with anything in front of him. I appreciate Kevin as a person too. He is a really great person, and is great at joining in with all the fun. My wife and I are very thankful for having Kevin shoot our wedding. You da man!!!
Kevin Sawyer is an exceptionally talented photographer! He is so creative, kind, accommodating and thoughtful! He recently shot our small wedding in Tahoe and honestly our experience was amazing. Kevin made us all feel comfortable and taken care of. He went above and beyond... giving us everything we could have ever wanted and more! He was even laying down in the mud for some photos to get the shot perfect! This man rocks!!!!
