Poor station. Completely abandoned by southern railways. Not just the station but the entire Cuddalore city. First the naming of this station. Bad move to name this station after it's old name. Should have named it Cuddalore Town or simply Cuddalore. Second is SR not scheduling a stop for trains passing through. Most of the trains stopping are midnight trains. But the newly announced Antyodaya trains doesn't have a stop here. Bad move. These trains have huge buffer and halting times at some junctions. Yet they are not scheduled to stop here. Poor scheduling by SR.
Small station. All shops closed inside the station due to COVID restrictions.
Still the name havent changed ....
One among the few stations that is located at the heart of the town. But still needs improvement in terms of infrastructure, cleanliness and more no of train facilities.
Railway station at the heart of town.. but sadly trains wont stop here..
Nice and clean railway station. There are people in the station still care about the water conservation and cleanliness of platform.
Easy access to Cuddalore and Pondicherry's bus stand. Not crowded at all. The only feature that is Noticeable is the platform is not straight. It is curved which is odd
