Well worth the visit! Very good competition for Home Depot with similar selection and variety but also a lot of housewares, appliances and furniture (office and patio). Whereas HD seems aimed more at construction/industrial, Sodimac appears to be more consumer facing.

Sodimac is like Lowe's in the US, the prices are about the same. The amount of employees are about 3 to 1 compare to Lowe's or Home Depot, I went there on a Tuesday about 4:30 PM and there were more security personnel than customers. Prices good Over-the-top security not good.
