FYI - Dry camping no water, no electric, no dump station. There are dumpsters and pit toilets. Water is still turned off. Get registration sheet at the sign by the red building close to the entrance. It was quiet, though surprisingly busy, which was disappointing. Campsites seemed pretty clean but there were a few that didn't clean up after their dogs. Not cool! The park roads are well maintained and campers were respectful. There isn't much to do unless you have a small boat &/or like to fish. No trails that I could see but not a big deal. I was looking for a bit of peace & this fit the bill pretty well. I hope we will all do our part to keep places like this open. Follow the rules and clean up afterwards. Simple.

True primitive camping. No running water or electric. No cell phone service. Toilets are somewhat close depending on where you camp. Good camping locations, most aren't close to other sites. Good weekend camping.

Went there for a week. Had a wonderful time! Camped in Jesse Owens State Park, campground c. Site was nice and big. We did bring a camper, not a fan of pit toilets. Mosquitos were horrendous, but you are in the woods. Love the hiking and fishing, will be going again soon!

Great place we like going here every chance we get. Its.called the Jesse Owens State park campground C now though. Plus the wells have been shut off at campgrounds C. You have to go down to campground A for water. We stayed 2 nights then moved over campground H for 2 nights the wells were still on there.
