I've now been to Magiscroft 5 times and I have not been disappointed once. I took my son for his first ever fishing trip onto the Island Pond, he had 48 fish in 5 hours. Now he's hooked. For that alone this is on hell of a fishery.

Having decided to pick up my rods again I had heard that Magiscroft was the venue to choose in Central Scotland, and they were spot on, from the minute I arrived the guys in the shop, the anglers waiting in the queue and those at the waterside everyone single one was friendly, extremely helpful and happy to pass on their tips and experiences. The fishery itself is excellent from the Main Loch for the specimen hunters to the smaller fun ponds. Anyone choosing to go to Magiscroft take plenty of bait, because with the activity I've had both times you need it to keep catching. Will I be back.... Probably as soon as next week.

Brilliant for all ages caught some really nice fish off this water. Holds some decent Carp both mirror and common the odd ghost but good luck finding them PB here is 15.09 lb
