My wife and I took our precious granddaughter dressed as Belle to see Beauty and the Beast Friday 21, 2020. We were mesmerized with the wonderful performance to which seeing my granddaughter give me multiple thumbs up meant the world to us. The cupcake productions cast give a powerful performance and draw you in to the story to its end, Congratulations to the entire cast. AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!!!!

Beautiful theater with world class productions in an intimate space. We saw avenue Q and the performers were top notch. The ticketing process is simple and moves the lines quickly. You get up close and personal with Broadway level talent. I was impressed.

The Cupcake Theater in North Hollywood is a GEM. For us.. a HIDDEN gem.. but judging by the sell out crowds, hidden only to us. There is not a bad seat in the house.. and the atmosphere is close and personal. The owner Michael is a gem.. and the cast is positively excellent. We saw the last performance of Avenue Q before its retirement.. and the show was amazing. Will be going back for Mamma Mia and anything else they put on. So perfect for a night out.. then head on over to Ernie's Mexican Restaurant after the show for a perfect nightcap.

So from the time you enter it feels familiar as if you have been there before. You get greeted by the owner himself who thanks everyone who enters, and then there's a concession area with all kinds of goodies. Did you know popcorn and red wine go so good together? Ummmm hmmmm. So now we walk down a small hall and through a double door and bam! It's theatre time. The seats are made in stadium style so we all hand an excellent view. The lighting is awesome and the stage was so fitting for this Christmas With the L.A Singers. I felt like I was on 22nd street in N.Y. and I've actually never been there lol. But you get the point back they even had fake snow. Everyone had talent and could SANG not sing but SANG. I mean from ages 10 to who knows how old, all I know is my ears were pleased my hands kept clapping along and some songs I even belted out. The support of these singers brought a packed house. I am so glad Songhbyrd invited me. It is a place i will definetely return too. I actually want to book an event so owner reach out to me!

***BE AWARE*** The seating IS NOT for people who are girthy!! So as not to be embarrassed or uncomfortable, be sure to take heed of this warning. It was my first visit to this place and I have to say that I was impressed by the performance. It is a small to medium sized theater and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I saw the Dreamgirls show and I was VERY entertained!! My favorite character was Jimmy because he was phenomenal for that part, but EVERYONE did such a fantastic job!! My friend and I were so impressed and thought we were watching a Broadway show! Kudos!!

We've been coming to the Cupcake since they moved to this location. It's very small and the seats are just your basic chairs but that's what makes it awesome! There are only a few seats that have obstructed views, but it's not hard to avoid those. The cast is highly talented no matter what show you see, and they're not afraid to tackle something like American Idiot. I love how they make tickets available at all price levels so it's affordable to everyone. We make sure to buy snacks and drinks to support the theatre too. We've even brought my 4 year old (Hairspray) and she LOVED it. I cannot recommend this place more. Long live the Cupcake!

I loved watching the little mermaid here! Their version actually made the plot make sense and it was very well done. I was inspired by how they made the costumes and by how well the cast portrayed their characters. Sebastián and Flounder stole the show!
