Good natural place. U can visit with family, with kids a big area for playing and enjoy with family and Frds. Generally couples visits here. This place is also for Picture or Small Video shoot. Suggest to Tourism authority to develop this place and make it more attractive.

The fort houses many tourist places. The best part is the well maintained garden. High Court museum, playground, indoor stadium, temple & Masjid are inside the fort.

Built by Anangabhima Deva III in 12th Century. Was the strong hold of Odia forces. Many great kings have sat at this fort. The Fort itself was a magnificent concept and Kataka means fort. The condition of the fort and it's maintenance is below par. The park remains open only from 4pm -6pm. Such a historical place deserves better.

Only a little base of fort and entry gate are available for watch. Not worth to visit this place if you are coming from long distance.
