Good place for worshipping Lord Shiv. The handing bridge is another attraction. Digital photo is available within 2 minutes. Boating facility is also there. Just be a little careful because of the monkeys.

Temple is not big but famous among locals. Main highlight of this temple is Mahanadi bank and Jhoola Pool. Facilities are not well developed.

What a place man. ...if you live in odisha must come to this place... especially in the winter.....day time view from the bridge is awesome....but the night scenery From the bridge is very nice....if you are a alone traveller then night time is very good for you...becuz there is no people is there to disturb you....but day time is more preferable for those who are coming in group

Dhabaleswar temple is dedicated to the worship of lord Shiva. It is situated at a distance of 27kms from the city of Cuttack , in exotic island of lord dhabaleswar on river Mahanadi . The act of turning a black calf to white caused lord Shiva to be also known as Dhabaleswar . Various festivals like Shivaratri , pausa purnima , dola purnima and Karthik purnima are celebrated here . But a big fair is held on sukla pakhya chaturdashi of the month Karthik called Bada osha . The temple can be reached by Bus via chowdwar , nuapatana , mancheswar and also via bidanasi through boating on river Mahanadi.

It's a iconic Shiva temple. Though not big enough but it is very famous in near locality. Good place if you are visiting with family and friends. The hanging bridge is the major attraction. Boating facility also available to roam around the river. Surroundings are very quite and peaceful. careful while you travel with small children because of monkeys and the place is somewhat not very clean.
