Outside of crowded area, calm terrace with enough space of shadow (located between buildings). Services are slower than other cafe. Variety of plates and cakes and all look good!

Been here a load of times for some churros, lunch, light bites, or breakfast. It's a pretty good spot in the centre of town that fills up fast and early for the main meals of the day. It's better value than Valor around the corner so people tend to go here plus in the evenings there is a much wider selection of food to be had. Chocolate con churros are cheap and cheerful. They also do good breakfasts of tostadas and whatever you want on them.

Very nice place to have a coffee or "churros con chocolate". One of the Cáceres oldest and classic cafés, but unfortunately a little bit expensive and very modernized. But even so, a good place to observe the daily life of the residents.

Hola buenas, he estado muchas veces en El Gran Café, pero hoy como nunca me he sentido desplazado, me ha atendido un hombre mayor, se que las medidas del covid son extremadamente necesarias, pero también la amabilidad son necesarias. He llegado al local y me ha exigido a sentarme cuando he pedido el café, pero mi intención era ver las obras presentadas en el local, ya que me gusta por el labor que hacen, por el compromiso que ejercen sobre el arte local,El Gran Café también me gusta por lo emblemático que es. Pero me parece fatal que me hayan tratado como hoy. Ante todo pido más amabilidad y respeto. Y perdonen por el contrario, no lo hago como crítica negativa, si no constructiva.
