Going in a guided tour of museum, it last 2 hours. Mind blowing, coming out almost with teats in my eyes. So much information about the life, family, traditions, past and future cover each display room with wood crafted pieces. Impressive guide, deep, profound, passionate and also joyful. Best ever visit to a museum.

The definition of unique. Real time travel even the rooms of exhibition are old. Nice kids wood theme playground on the backyard live size chess figures sculptured in... wood too

There are so many stories surrounding this beautiful and pittoresque area that you can read through the carvings in wood and other items that have been left behind as treasures to keep for generations to come... Don't miss this place if you happen to pass by. I would even invite you to plan a visit to see the city and its surroundings and take the opportunity to visit the Museum as well. After years of cold and dust, it seems it will be soon renovated. The items in the museum and its people however, have always been there to receive you with open, warm and eager arms and they look forward to guide you through the history of the place.

Beautiful and large display of several woodworks and charming welcome by the guides. No wonder tourist busses stop here. PS: The eggs are a traditional thing from Romania. They are very beautiful trinkets hand-made, which you can buy for example at the museum.
