Very lovely place to relax and enjoy life. The restaurant is superb and the owner takes personally care of your needs. Enjoy the breakfast on the terrace with a breathtaking view over the village and the sea. Nice pool in the garden

A truly 5 star experience. From the welcome at the door to the marble on the floor! Very comfortable and supportive beds - although soft pillows might be a challenge of stay is longer than a long weekend. Good buffet breakfast with attentive staff (able to remember you and your order on subsequent visits). Architecturally elaborate and historically interesting the hotel provides a lovely setting for the start of your day inside and out. Great spa and massage services. You can book the spa area to yourself or your group which offers a different way to relax while taking in the atmosphere - which is truly decadent.

We stayed here for two nights in a Junior Suite. We were on the ground floor in a room with a lovely patio area with a water fountain and an extended patio with a big orange tree and a small roman column. It was very private and peaceful. The room had a large bathroom and a huge bed with a separate dressing area. WiFi was good. The small lounge area has a very beautiful ceiling and very comfortable sofas. The breakfast area has a glass floor through which you can see the remains of the Roman villa that the palace was originally. You can ask to go down and view the ruins up close. It’s very interesting to get so close to the mosaic flooring and the Roman columns. The interior garden area is lovely with a small pool not heated and very comfortable chairs and loungers around it. We had room service and it was delivered promptly and the food was very good. Breakfast selection was excellent with everything you could want. There were nice touches like leaving small plates of fruit or nuts in the room each day and free bottled water. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. We would love to return one day.

Lovely boutique hotel that was in a great location. Staff were very helpful and all smiles from the minute that I parked in their courtyard. Comfortable room with good WiFi connection.

Booked this hotel through Qantas with points. Points well worth spending! Very nice hotel, great service, tranquile gardens, quiet rooms. Great for a rest stop while touring the south of Spain. The only "but", rooms are comfortable however the room we stayed in felt dark, had a window to the alley and was quuet. However, it made me not want to stay in the room. For that, there is plenty of light in the garden/pool. A must, try the Roman baths!

We stayed here for two nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid to have breakfast there; the best breakfasts we had in the 17 days we were in Spain. The hotel was on the smaller side (uncrowded), with a beautiful courtyard and a general ambiance evoking the wonderful history of Cordoba. However the rooms were modern and comfortable. The location put it within a few blocks of the heart of the old city, an old city that's right out of a fairy tail, truly wonderful.
