Literally sent me in loops trying to get a hold of them. Got in touch with the call center then they said they would transfer me there directly. Nope. Ended up doing a loop of talking to them 4 times.

This is my primary health care provider. I called them a few of weeks ago because I had been in close contact with someone that tested positive for covid-19. I hadn't begun showing symptoms at the time. I was denied a Covid-19 test. The reasons the telecare physician gave were, 1. They didn't have enough parking space for everyone to come get tested at their facility. (I didn't have a car at the time.) 2. They didn't have enough Covid-19 testing kits to give everyone. ( I'm just one person.) I was Covid positive and I almost died. I'm not saying that a test would have changed anything but this is my primary health care provider, you would think they'd care about my health. Just saying.

Been having issues lately with this clinic! They either change or cancel your appt and the staff is also a little uncourtious too. Im switching clinics!

My appointment was cancelled and no one knew why. Paytricia mLuna rescheduled for that afternoon as this is the only day off that I have. Once arriving at this appointment I nwas told that it would need to be rescheduled due to not having my new patient paperwork filled out. It made no sense. Patricia called and was able to arrange things so that I would be seen. Even with all the confusion she ws courteous and very professional making a mess into something that was handled and handled well. I am thankful for her effort and not just accepting the situation. This is going above and beyond . Thank yo Patricia for your assistance and professioanlism.

My primary care DR is here. I like the small/medium size, as compared to the larger Loma-Linda (or Cedars-Siani if you are familiar with LA) type hospitals with integrated clinics. Those are too slow and really test your patience. This setting is, in my opinion, optimally sized for treating patients in a city population. A small one-DR clinic (as you find in rural towns) is too small to serve volume, so I think Borrego is an excellent compromise. They are friendly and attentive, and quick to act. Appointments are usually whiten a few days, so you don't need to wait weeks to be seen for follow-ups. I've been going here for a few years, and will continue to do so- they are a very pleasant facility, with nice doctors and staff. I'm sad about the recent passing of DR Eric Shigeno- he was a supurb Doctor.
