We bought a Yamaha Jupiter from this hostel. They seemed like very honest, respectable people and told us the bike was in great condition and we would have no problem reselling the bike in Hanoi. On the contrary, we are in Hanoi and are being told we got ripped off on unexplainable levels and cannot even recoup half our money. We have called the Da Nang Motorbike Hostel several times for an explanation of their fraudulent actions and have failed to return our calls, stay with us on the line or delivery us the smallest amount of customer service. We feel disrespected and scammed and we feel we deserve a proper explanation for selling the bike to us for such a high price and for not helping us along the way. I cannot recommend and highly advise to not purchase a bike from this hostel. Steer clear, consider all your options and look elsewhere for a fair price.

Hi, I wouldn’t recommend buying a bike from them unless you want to get ripped off. We purchasd a semi-automatic bike from the hostel for 8 million VND. The lady reassured us that it was in perfect condition and that we would definitely be able to re-sell it for 6-7 million in Hanoi. However in Hanoi, we are being told that our engine and front suspension have problems, and that our bike it only worth 2 million VND. We tried to reach out to her again since she promised that we could contact her if we had any problems with the bike. She hung up twice and has not been helpful at all. We are very disappointed with the customer service and ethics of this hostel.
